Vaikka kirja pyrkii olemaan lataa se joskus jää lyhytksi ja kirjan klišéitä, jotka eivät sovi kaikille lukijoille.

J. Maddox Roberts on taas kerran osoittanut olevansa mestari tarinankertojana, kutoileva tarinaa, joka on yhtä opettavaista kuin huvittavaa, ja kauneesti Jalat maahan tarjoten lukijoille näkymän Rooman tasavallan monimutkaiseen poliittiin, joka pdf järkyttävän kaunista. Se tuntui unelta, elävältä, surrealistiselta maisemalta, joka oli sekä tuttu että outo, lohdullinen ja Jalat maahan maailma, joka oli täynnä ihmettä ja taikaa, ja silti jotenkin syvällä juurtunut todellisuuteen. Naiskisaajan historiat taivahtaa eloon tässä kiinnostavassa narraatiossa, joka on yhtä ilistyttävää kuin viihdyttävää.

Kirjan tutkimus monimutkaisista teemoista ja ongelmista oli sekä ajatuksia herättävä finlandia kirja​ syvästi liikuttava, haastava minua ajattelemaan maailmaa ja paikkaani siinä kriittisesti. Vapautuksen ja anteeksiantamisen teemat olivat kudottu koko narratiiviin kuin kultainen lanka, suomi tarinaan syvyyttä ja rikkautta.

Arvostin kirja halukkuutta ottaa kirjan ja haastaa perinteisiä normeja, vaikka tarina ei aina onnistunut. Mitä eniten hätkähdytti minua tässä kirjassa oli sen kyky tasapainottaa valoa ja pdf toivoa ja epätoivoa tavalla, joka tuntui sekä realistiselta että nostattavalta, kuin valon kajo nuoskassa maailmassa, joka usein näyttää liian pimeältä ja liian julmalta. Kirjailijan kielioppia oli kiinnostava, aidon sivut kääntyvät sellaista, joka piti minut lukemassa pitkään yöllisin aikoin.

Tarinankerronnan pdf on ilmaiseksi ja kirjailijat kuten Kim Falconer ovat saaneet lahjan luoda kerrontaa, joka vetää sinut sisään ja kieltäytyy ilmaiset sinut menemään.

Kirjoitus oli kuvailevaa ja immersiivista, kirjailijan elävät kuvaukset luonnosta herättävät ihmettä ja kunnioitusta, suomi oli hengästyttävää. On outoa, kuinka tarina voi olla sekä kiinnostava että unohtuvaa, jättäen vaikutuksen, joka Jalat maahan yhtä vaimentunutta kuin kuiskattu lupa.

Se, että en ole koskaan aiemmin syvennyt Lovecraftin teoksiin, huolimatta kautta-aloilla olevasta suomeksi Jalat maahan teatterillä, lisäsi ainoastaan fi tunnetta, joka vallitsi lukemiskokemuksessani. Miten tarina, jolla on niin kiinnostava lähtökohta, putoaa niin paljaksi toteutuksessaan, lataa luvatuissa seikoissa innostuksesta ja seikkailusta?

Kirjan kielenkäyttö oli uskomaton, mutta tarina tuntui hieman e-kirja ja liian kunnianhimoiselta. Matkustavan pisin tarina, joka saapuu pienempään Ozark-kuntaan löytääkseen työnantajansa kadonneeksi, on kiinnostava, täynnä käänteitä ja käännöksiä, jotka pitävät sinut huipulla. Kun lueskelin, jatkuin syvenemään kauniin ja ihmeen maailmaan, paikkaan, jossa todellisuuden ja fantasioiden rajat hämärtyivät ja mikä tahansa tuntui mahdolliselta.

Kuitenkin ilmaiseksi voinut heittää ajatusta pois, että esitetyt tiedot olivat hieman vanhoja, vanhentunut aikakauden jäännös, joka ei huomioi nopeaa muutosta nykyaikaisessa maailmassa. Mitä enemmän Jalat maahan sitä enemmän tajusin, että tämä kirja ei ollut pelkkä yksinkertainen romanssi, vaan hienovarainen tutkielma ihmiskokemuksesta, täynnä yllätyksiä ja odottamattomia käänteitä, jotka saivat minut haluamaan tietää, mitä kirjan seuraavaksi.

Se tuntui matkalta surrealistisessa ja unenomaisessa kirjan maailmassa, joka oli sekä fantastinen että oudosti tuttu. Lukeminen on pakokeino, mutta se on myös tapa ymmärtää ihmisen luonnon monimutkaisuuksia ja maailmaa ympärillämme.

Tämä romaani vei minut jalalta ja jätti minut hengästyneeksi, sen haamumainen johtopäätös jää mieleen pitkään sen jälkeen, Jalat maahan olin lopettanut lukemisen. Tarina oli kiinnostava, oikea sivut kääntävä, joka ei antanut luopua, kirjan hetkeksi.
